centers, they are screening positive at a higher rate for military sexual
trauma, meaning they indicated experiencing sexual harassment, assault or
rape. Some studies have shown that female veterans are at greater risk for
homelessness." .... click the link for the whole topic.

A bill that would provide tax breaks to service members trying to buy or sell a home passed the House of Representatives by a unanimous vote. The Servicemembers Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009 would give deployed service members extra time to qualify for an $8,000 homebuyer tax credit for first-time purchasers that expires on Dec. 1, and would exempt those forced to move by military orders from having to give back the money if they sell a home after owning it for less than three years.

75 percent of USA youth unfit for the Military

Lack of exercise, lack of sleep, illegal drugs, psychological issues and let us not forget being fat as a cow is stopping many of the American youth between 17 to 24 years of age from being eligible to get into the Branches of the Military. Waivers can help get some Patriotic young people into uniform, but that still leaves an amazing number of young adults just plain unfit for service. The ramifications are greater than just applicants being turned away. If ever we needed to implement a mandatory draft to protect our Country, the amount of young people that would have the capacity to protect and serve our country in a time of need is pitiful outside of our volunteer Military.
